Leka Putra is a visual artist and luxury artisan painter born in Sanggau, West Kalimantan and currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He spent two years as the first in-house painter for Louis Vuitton Indonesia before continuing his career as an independent artist and artisan.
His work explores the dualities of everyday life; moving between small-town and urban experiences, wealth and poverty, gender, and power. Through his practice, he reflects on how these contrasts shape the way people see, value, and understand the world around them.
